I'd give Hy-Vee six stars if I could. Everything they did for our group of 80 adults was better than expected. REASONABLE PRICE to start with and everything was exceptional. Brisket burnt ends and ribs were tasty and done just right, scratch-made desserts were delicious (not too sweet), baked beans with a kick, brussel sprouts were crispy and juicy at the same time, and the potato salad was best I've had. We highly recommend Hy-Vee.

"Hy-Five!" Coming from Red Wing, MN, where the only chain supermarket options are both Econofoods stores, Hy-Vee is a little slice of heaven. I enjoy the variety and quality of Hy-Vee's produce, meat, dairy, world food, and health market sections, as well as the in-store dining options of Chinese Express and salad buffet. The meat section is a special treat, where you can most often find affordable, wild-caught seafood such as mahi-mahi, shrimp, and salmon (usually also available pre-packaged in the frozen section), ready to be packaged for you by knowledgeable and friendly butchers. The butchers also occasionally like to offer fun tips for seasoning and cooking your meats! The health and beauty sections are also not to be ignored, offering a nice selection of natural skin and hair products. If you are looking to improve your health, a dietician is also available at this store, providing services such as personal nutrition counseling, health screening, and in-store nutrition workshops.
